Sports Medicine: WBL - Work-Based Learning During a lively Sports Medicine class, the energy was palpable as Level 2 students teamed up with interns for a hands-on session focused on wound care. Laughter and friendly competition filled the air as they practiced techniques, transforming the clinic into a dynamic learning hub. With bandages flying and fake injuries aplenty, the students honed their skills in assessing and treating wounds, all while sharing tips and tricks with one another. Each successful dressing was met with cheers, and the camaraderie blossomed, turning a serious topic into a fun, collaborative adventure in learning. It was a day filled with teamwork, laughter, and invaluable experience that would prepare them for the fast-paced world of sports medicine! Thank you Ms. Johnson, We appreciate your dedication! #RRHS/CTE: Providing Hands-On Experience!

Santa Cruz Valley USD 35 recently celebrated the opening of a new indoor learning space at the district farm with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The event showcased the collaboration and dedication of our Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs. Culinary students prepared and served food, the sound system was managed by Stagecraft students, parking was coordinated by Law and Public Safety, and live music was performed by A Jacobo. Agriculture students played a key role in preparing the farm, ensuring it was clean and handling the event setup. This new facility represents our commitment to providing hands-on learning opportunities. Photos provided by Victoria Barajas a photography student. RRHS/CTE: Providing Hands-On Experience
