We are proud to announce that LTC (Ret) Roque has joined the Rio Rico High School Army JROTC program as an instructor. With an extensive background in the U.S. Army, LTC Roque brings his experience gained from serving in various ranks and participating in operations around the world. His leadership and operational expertise are invaluable assets to our JROTC program, helping to strengthen the skills and discipline of our cadets.
LTC Roque will be working alongside 1st Sergeant Moore to guide RRHS students in their journey to becoming future leaders within our community.

This internship offers her valuable hands-on experience in the finance sector while supporting her educational growth. Rio Rico High School students enrolled in AJS 101 recently visited the Santa Cruz County Superior Court to observe law and motion cases. As part of the Dual Enrollment program, these students are given the chance to engage with real-world legal processes, deepening their understanding of the law. The visit offered an in-depth look at courtroom procedures and the judicial system. A special thank you to Judge Ortega and Juan Pablo Guzmán for making this educational experience possible.

The HawX Advanced Dance class was recently caught by RRHS Administrators practicing their daily dance routines, showcasing their commitment to excellence. It is amazing to witness all the hard work that both the students and Mr. Quihuiz have put into perfecting their routine. Their dedication and effort are truly appreciated by everyone at the school. Don't forget that the RRHS HawX Dance Team will perform on September 28 at the THRIVE-FEST at Pierson High School. Yes, We are State Champs!
