Please help our school district & Rio Rico Rotary ensure that families in our community have a wonderful Thanksgiving meal. Donate all of your loose change to the Calabasas Coin War. We ask that you send the change to school with your child. Your child will then turn in the money to their teacher if they are in elementary, and to their SSR teacher if they are in middle school.

Celebrating Día de Muertos with Altares
As part of the Día de Muertos tradition, students create altares (altars) to honor and remember loved ones who have passed away. These altars, often vibrant and full of symbolic elements, are a way to welcome the spirits back for a night of celebration.
Día de Muertos is a time for families to come together to celebrate life, memory, and the connection between past and present generations. The altares are not just tributes but expressions of love and respect, keeping the memories of our loved ones alive in a colorful, heartfelt way.
